Head of Sales - Oglaend Singapore
What's the role?
We are looking for a passionate and driven leader to kick start their career with us as a Head of Sales in our Oglaend business, supporting business growth in South east Asia. Oglaend has been part of the Hilti group since 2017, providing multidiscipline support systems to the Oil & Gas, Wind Energy and Ship industry.

What does the role involve?
As Head of Sales you will be responsible to lead the regional Offshore sales team (Oglaend Singapore sales team and Inside sales team as direct reports, sales team in other markets in matrix set-up). You will have full accountability for achievement of sales targets, whilst maintaining a consistent sales approach across all markets.
The Head of Sales will expand and deepen customer relationships with a long term focus, improving long term customer relationships at all levels with offshore yards and contractors. They will focus on driving the conversion of specifications into sales, as well as detection and materialization of additional business opportunities, driving Hilti-Oglaend combined portfolio across all markets. As head of sales you will communicate with both internal Hilti and Oglaend stakeholders to solve commercial and technical challenges.

What you need is:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering or business administration. MBA is a plus but not essential
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Offshore Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind industry with tangible track record of leading a sales team and increasing revenue
- Passionate people leader with experience of growing and developing direct reports
- Demonstrated effectiveness working in a matrix environment
- Previous experience in process improvement
- Demonstrated business administration experience in forecasting, budget, planning, etc.
- Work experience in an international and multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Goal oriented, self-driven personality.

- Fluent in English is essential, other languages are a plus
